At Merne at Lighthouse we offer two stunning locations within our grounds for your wedding ceremony. Our locations are perfect for couples who wish to host their wedding and reception at one venue.
Rustic wedding on the Bellarine
For a native, rustic setting couples can choose our earthy woodland consisting of large endless rows of gum trees. The natural canape of the trees provides shelter from the elements blocking out wind and shading your guests from the sun. The endless rows of gums provide a romantic and secluded backdrop for your photos
Garden wedding on the Bellarine
If a garden setting is more your style our grassy lawn framed with rows of olive trees, would be perfect. The open-air setting is light and bright, ideal for your gusts to linger whilst grazing on canapes and sipping champagne.
Wedding ceremony, photos and reception all at one location
At Merne we see your wedding as a progressive event where your ceremony flows onto celebratory drinks and canapes, followed by your reception in the restaurant where you can dance the night away. We encourage the full use of the grounds and offer many picturesque photo opportunities all in the one beautiful location. We have you covered in the unfortunate event of rain and can shift ceremonies to our veranda with ease. We have a collection of styling items such as oak barrels, umbrellas, signing tables and arbour’s that compliment both ceremony locations. The staff at Merne can assist with any setup requirements on the day and love to help with additional styling including the addition of personal touches.
