Its been an amazing month setting up this wonderful restaurant on the Bellarine. Here at Merne we have been busy choosing furniture, discussing design features, talking to suppliers and evolving the menu. All these things take up so much time. Our Chef, Josh Smith is busy preparing the kitchen garden, planting seasonal produce in time for the cooler months establishing what will be on the winter menu.
We are not far away from opening now, hopefully an early April start just in time for Easter.It’s a little longer than anticipated but hopefully gives us more time to freshen up and hit the ground running.
We can’t wait to reopen this venue. It’s had a paint, fresh carpet and is looking shiny and new.
